Mages are needed now mainly to deal with Oog Cause latly he's been showing up with a massive goblin army atleast 10-15 & 2 Ogres on Normal + himself even with 2 maxed footmen & a Knight with ranger & Cleric Oog's forces are enought to out mucle them & my village crumbles. Hunters are a late game Hybrid Combat/Meat gatherer that gains the same abilities as an archer as it levels with the Exception of the ability to tame Wolves and Varasaur as combat pets, Two wolves, one Giant wolf OR 1 Varasaur may be tamed at one time. So Right off my head we need 4 classes in Stonehearth the first is the miner class from the workshop (Needs a bit of animation polish) the other 3 are a Fisherman, Hunter, & Mage.įisherman is a simple food gathering class for Meat in the Early game aswell as fuilling a role that feels missing in the game adds Esthetic.
Lastly a trait learning system could also be added over time based on what the Hearthling does theres a chance for the Hearthling to improve their Flaw Trait to at least a Neutral trait as an example you have a Hearthling with Heart of a Crafter & Passionate Blacksmith with the Flaw of Callous over time & with posative interactions Callous could become Friendly or Charasmatic at best with posative scocialisation or become animal friend or Loaner at worst with negative interactions. The second Method is a Stright up Selection list that gives us up to 2 good traits toselect & one bad one to maintain a balance so we can't go with only two good options as with this every Hearthling will have a Flaw. Now there are 2 options here first a simple Lock Traits button so when I get Curagous as an example I can keep that & try to re-roll to get a the second one I'd like.
Ok so I've been playing this since Alpha stage 5 on Steam LOVE the mods on Steam workshop but in my exsperience there a cupple things we need in the game so heres my thoughts:įirst we need a way to get atleast 1 Trait we want for a Hearthling without trusting the Re-roll buttion to give us that combo.
